What I want for Christmas...

As usual my family has started asking about what they can get everyone for Christmas? I have been into "R/C" cars & trucks for years. I have found a new one that I'm REALLY interested in, but I'm not sure about what I should get. Does anyone out there have any advise? I want one I can drive no matter where I'm at...so I'm looking at the Traxxis E-Revo Brushless Edition VXL or EX.

If you have any advice please post it.

Not feeling good....

I started puting some new stain/sealant on our deck today.  I did not know how bad the fumes would be, and I could only take it for a couple of hours.  Ater that I had to stop.  I only got the outter parts, and will work on it more tomorrow.

Want to come help?

Wish me luck!  I'm just now getting over the headache the fumes gave me earlier!

===========================================================================
Go Broncos 6-0 it's a great game...my Ravens have lost 2 in a row and while the Panthers won still not liking where the season is going.
=========================================================================
Getting up and taking C to school, running a couple of errands, and then back to the deck....oh joy!
Once I get done, I'll post some pics.

Movie Reviews

Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen

This is better than the one that came out a couple of years ago. There is plenty of action & Megan Fox, but they make the robots more human by having them crack jokes or show what would seem like emotions. Did I mention there's plenty of Megan Fox in this movie! There will be more to come with franchise, and I can't wait to see!

FIGHTING

This was not that interesting of a movie to me. Channing is a good looking guy who gets the girl in this one, wait that's not original. He's down on his luck and resorts to hustling rich people for money, wait that's not new either. I didn't find anything original about this movie, but I sure hope GI Joe is better because it'll be coming out soon.

Dead Girl

This isn't one you've probably heard of, I say that because I hadn't, and not sure you'll want to admit to watching afterwards. I think this is supposed to be a different way of doing a horror/zombie movie. These teenage boys find a girl restrained to a table in an abandoned mental hospital. Did I mention she's naked? Well I'm sure most of you can guess where that goes. Well things get even grosser and even weirder from there. I don't recommend this one, especially NOT for kids!

Premonition

This was a strange movie for Sandra Bullock. It was what I would imagine a bad "trip" on some illegal drugs would feel like. I was lost and my head was spinning, and then at the end I was left wondering what the point was? It is told in past and present tenses, so you REALLY need to pay attention. Maybe I'm wrong but I think this movie is like a painting...its meaning is open to interpretation. Not sure I would recommend it for a "date night" unless you're already married; because then you can debate on the meaning.

I thought I was going to have a heart attack...

I woke to hear my name being screamed. What would go do if you woke the sound of your wife screaming at you? I got out of bed as fast as I could and ran into our living room. Where I see B getting C ready for daycare. Short of breath I asked what was wrong, and got the reply nothing just that my son wasn't cooperating. As I tried to slow my heart rate from what seemed like 200bpm they left. B off to work, and C off to daycare. That was a startling way to start my day.

I finished my training today. I go take my test tomorrow. I start my new position with my new crew on Saturday. I'm still nervous, but excited.

I hope tomorrow goes well with my test, and I sure hope I don't get scared into waking up!

I was getting ready for my training class this morning and almost busted my butt on the floor...there was water on the floor. My first reaction was to check under the sink. No water there. Checked the floor to see where it was coming from. I traced the water back to the toilet. I didn't see any water dripping, so I turned off the water. I finished getting ready for my class, and left.

When I got home I found out my brother-in-law was coming over to take a look at the toilet. He got over her, and determined he'd replace the wax seal and refill valve. We went to "Lowe's" and got the parts.

I got tools he needed and watched him, and now it seems to be fixed.

It's nice to have friends & family that can help you like that! It could have taken days and probably a couple hundred dollplumber" but that's what my brother-in-law used to do...so that's why we called him. Thanks man!

More training tomorrow and Wed. and then Saturday I start my new position with a new group of co-workers, so that'll be stressful but good. I'll keep everyone up to date.

Take care...

Our family trip...

The day started off normal enough...we all got up, got dress, ate breakfast, got the cooler & van packed, and then we were off.  So we thought...

I forgot to change the settings on my GPS from shortest distance to fastest time so we didn't get there going mostly highway.  We were in a city close to home with a lot of stop lights and traffic.  C got car sick!  He puked on himself, a couple of times I believe.  With all the packing no extra cloths were brought; note to self NEXT trip pack extra clothes!  What can you do but go to the local K-Mart and buy $26 & change worth of clothes, cleaning supplies, and one large puke bucket.  B asked the Pharmacist and they advised to give C some "cola syrup." Thank goodness for that stuff for working!

We finally get there about 30mins and the fun begins.  We saw every exhibit they had open, which we figure was about five miles worth of walking.  C did a combo of walking and riding in his stroller.  There were several groups from schools and lots of families there enjoying the on and off drizzle of rain while the sun played peek-a-boo with us.  The weather couldn't make up its mind much like C couldn't whether to walk or not.  We had him in the stroller mostly so he couldn't run off or get taken off by someone else.

All the walking/riding and all the excitement of being in a new place C didn't take a nap at the ZOO.  B gave him some of that great "cola syrup" before we were ready to leave, so once we took our last tram ride back to the entrance where came in we were almost ready to go.  One last thing...had to buy C a toy or something. He finally decided on a stuff monkey, named "Silly Monkey."  This is funny to us because most of his other "critters" are called by their animal names; for example, a dinosaur is called "dino," a dog is called "dog-dog," a hippopotamus is called "hippo" so you get the point.

The ride home was quiet.  I set my GPS to fastest rather than shortest route, and about five minutes into the drive C was OUT like a light.

We got close to home and ate with my mom, called "Gree," and came home.  B gave C a bath while I unloaded the van; I know you're worried about my foot but I was cleared on Wed. by the doc.  I appreciate your concern but it was sore some of the day, but it was ok for the most part.  After getting C to bed I sat down to watch "Year One" which a friend had told me it was funny, but I was SO tired I didn't really watch it much before deciding to get a shower and go to bed. (Sorry but this was why I didn't post last night!)

That was our adventure for now; keep coming back to see what new tales I can tell about our family...

Trip to the ZOO

Tomorrow we're taking C to the ZOO for the first time.  He's only 2 1/2yrs old but he's VERY smart and so alert to what things are.  I can't wait to see his reactions to some of the animals.  I'm not sure if he's going to get excited or scared of some of the larger animals.  My wife, B, and I figured it's been about nine years since we went there last, so we figure a good bit is different.

Before we can have our fun tomorrow we had to do some work today.  We pressure washed our wood deck, driveway, and sidewalk.  Neither of us has ever pressure washed anything other than our cars at the local do-it-yourself car wash.  It was loud and tiring, but I think things look better.  I can't wait to get the stain/sealant on the deck and I even got some all purpose sealant for the driveway and sidewalk.  I've never use a stain/sealant combo so that'll be an experience I'll have to share.

Does anyone have any tips on the best way to apply the stain/sealant?  I have a roller with deep sided tray to use, and I have a manual pump sprayer for the clear sealant for the driveway/side walk.

Everyone have a great weekend and thank you for visiting my blog...make sure you support my sponsors by clicking on the links...Thank you!

The things we do for the ones we love...

Things we do for our families...

When B was in college we got married, and I made the promise to her and her mom that she WOULD finish school! I worked two jobs (avg. 55hrs/week) for approximately a year. She graduated.

I left a job that I did well and had been there for five years to a learn a new job that I've enjoyed and gotten good at because of stability issues at the old job. That chance has paid off because I have good benefits, good pay, and not a lot of chance of getting laid off. The only issue was a rotating shift. That changed in January, and I was put on permanent night shift. I stuck in there because of the benefits, and who am I kidding the economy around here sucks. In other words no viable jobs that would work.

Today I found out my hard work and waiting paid off! I got approved for a slot on permanent days! Nervous as I am to work with new people but it'll be worth it to be able to see my wife and son every day. See with permanent nights I would go a couple of days at a time without seeing either my wife or son. I missed a lot of family activities because of needing to sleep, but now I'm going to join the land of the living and working days. I'll be missing less family activities.

What have you given up for your family, friends, or even a stranger?

Laughing SO HARD you spew.... WARNING: This blog may contain material offensive to some and not for anyone under 18!

A friend at work showed this video to me and it made me laugh almost at hard as I describe below...watch at your own risk!

WARNING: By clicking on this video you will hear GRAPHIC language NOT suited for people UNDER 18!!

Have you EVER laughed REALLY HARD while trying to eat? I did tonight and it wasn't pretty...it was down right disgusting but I still wish I had it on video!

Myself, my mom (call her J), my wife (call her B), and my son (call him C) were all in the kitchen eating dinner, tonight was B's chili. I put shredded cheese and sour cream in my chili, and began eating it with some Baked Lays Scoops (which we bought to eat for lunch later in the week with some fajitas). B was staring at me, not in a "good" way, and then she commented about the chips.

I put up those "Scoops" and got out some Memphis Bar-b-Que Light Pringles and began eating my chili with them. B made such a fuss I began to laugh. Well I hadn't had time to swallow before she made me laugh so I had stuff coming out of my mouth and nose, and was about to start choking. I didn't care because I couldn't stop laughing...B still making comments and running off didn't help!

I finally stopped laughing and caught my breath; my son C asked me if I was ok (well he's only 2yrs old so that's touching) and I of course had to nod since I wasn't able to talk yet.

This was my dinner, anyone have a good story about laughing uncontrollably?

Homemade fall goodness

Tonight I decided to cook x3 medium sized sweet potatos my mom brought over a few days ago.  I don't think I've ever cooked any myself...well maybe I have around the holidays but I don't remember.  I got on-line as usual to http://www.foodnetwork.com/ to find a good recipe.  I usually try to cook healthy but sometimes you can take a regular recipe and "tweak" it to make it healthier than it was originally intended.  I think it came out really well so give it a try and let me know what you think.

Start with KEYSHAWN'S MOM'S CANDID YAMS Recipe courtesy Keyshawn's Mom, Reign, Beverly Hills, CA (from http://www.foodnetwork.com/)

Ingredients

3 pounds sweet potatoes or yams
1 cup sugar
1 cup brown sugar
3 sticks sweet butter, cubed

Rated: 5 stars out of 5

Directions
Peel potatoes and cut into 2-inch cubes. Place potatoes in large pot, cover with sugar, brown sugar and butter cook over medium heat until potatoes are fork tender (about 20 minutes) but not mushy.

Ok for a little healthier I used:
Country Crock Light butter, so that it's better for you than regular butter
Splenda for cooking & baking (well I used to off brand from Wal-Mart)

Extra not in the recipe:
1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
1/4 vanilla estract

This would be great with your holiday meals since it's what I would call a "comfort food"...eat well & take care!

Movie Reviews

The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor

I thought the story and effects were good but the fact that Brendan Frazier only looked about 10-15yrs (at most) older than his son sort of didn't work for me. I would have liked to see more of Jet Li but my favorite characters were the snow creatures they showed in the trailers.

Clockstoppers

think this is a good family movie. It's works for young teens to adults, because there's no nudity or profanity. There's some decent special effects with a subplot about family. There's some laughs, especially in the night club scene, to go with the action. It's worth checking out.

Catacombs

This is a terrible movie. It's very boring and easy to guess what's really going on. Like previous reviewer stated it is very repetitive with the main character running around screaming and crying. Please don't watch this movie if flashing lights bother you or makes you have seizures! Not worth the headache this movie gave me a headache.

Doomsday

This is a decent sci-fi/action movie. It seems to take aspects from the "Mad Max" movies, "Escape from New York," and the "Resident Evil" movies. There's one scene where you see a naked lady in a bathtub shooting at people, some people find that attractive, but that's all you'll get there. There's plenty of shooting, bombs going off, and a nice "Bentley" getting torn up a highway. It's a good movie to watch late at night with some friends when you're wanting one of those "no brainer" movie.

Single White Female 2: The Psycho

This is a poor sequel to the original. There's of course a love triangle and at least one of the girl's in this one has mental issues...maybe more than one. The women are nice looking, but doesn't make up for the bad story line. I would skip on this one next time.

Punisher: War Zone

This is a decent movie. It's hard to call it a sequel because it's a different guy playing Frank Castle. I like it for the action and just blowing *hit up! It's a good movie to watch late at night or with the guys, but NOT a date movie.

X-Men Origins: Wolverine

I liked this prequel to the X-Men trilogy. There's a lot of background into Wolverine's life and some insight into how Xavier gets the X-Men started. You meet Sabertooth, Deadpool, The Blob, Toad, Cyclops, Agent Zero, and many more from Marvel comics. It's got a love story in it so the ladies might tolerate it but it's mostly just for the guys.

Are you happy with your job? I'M SO HAPPY I HAVE A JOB!!

Have you heard or read the unemployment rate ROSE to 9.8%, highest since 1983, according to Washington (see Yahoo article). They say this is the worst recession since 1930's.

With everything in my life, this just makes me appreciate my job even more!

What about you? What do you do? Is the next job just around the corner or is months or years away?
I don't see me leaving my job anytime soon. I have benefits, good pay (at least for my area), some pretty good people, and at times I really do enjoy my job.

I don't see me winning the lottery anytime soon but if I do I would still work...hopefully for myself rather than someone else. Until that day comes I plan on being happy with my job, being able to pay my bills, and keep a roof over my family's head. What about you?

I feel like ranting about TV shows I like....and ones I don't like

Let me first ask what tv shows do you enjoy now or have ever enjoyed?

We didn't have cable growing up, well not till I had my first apartment at 18 and while I can say now that just means I still years to "grow up." I remember watching shows like KNIGHT RIDER, A-Team, DALLAS, SANFORD & SONS, GOLDEN GIRLS, GUNSMOKE, THREE STOOGES, VOLTRON, G.I. JOE, GOBOTS, SILVERHAWKS, THUNDERCATS, FRIENDS, ER, MASH, and more I can't remember the names of. More recently I enjoy EVERBODY LOVES RAYMOND, KING OF QUEENS, HOUSE, BONES, NCIS, CSI, NUMBERS, HELL'S KITCHEN, IRON CHEIF/IRON Chief AMERICA, AMERICAN CHOPPER, AMERICAN HOT ROD, UNIVERSE, GANGLAND, SONS OF ANARCHY, THE FORGOTTEN, and NIP/TUCK ... more to come as the new season has started and there are some shows that look entertaining.

Sometimes I even enjoy watching sports: football, basketball, baseball and racing. My family and I like to go see the local team at the park and I sit there eating my peanuts and rooting for the home team. I watch the Olympics when they come around once all the pomp and circumstance is over. I enjoy watching people to extraordinary things that they have dedicated their lives to do for a very short time.

I like shows that are original. Most of the ones I have mentioned have spin-off’s and HOLLYWOOD is getting less and less original whether it's TV or movies. A lot of TV networks and movie studios are coping each other or things from past. Now don't get me wrong TRANSFORMERS and it's sequel are great movies but would someone have come up with the idea if it had not been for the original cartoon from the 80's?

"Reality TV" as it's called is a prime example of the DECLINE of our creativity in HOLLYWOOD. Maybe it's because they are taking the arts out of schools or the increase in the strength of illegal drugs or that people are trying to be healthier so they are drinking less Starbucks or the crazy energy drinks? The only "Reality TV" show I've enjoyed every season since it started is the popular AMERICAN CHOPPER about the family run company of Orange County Choppers. They don't seem to be acting when they fight, yell, throw things, run over stuff with their trucks, or build a chopper or two. AMERICAN HOTROD is off the air because the famous Boyd Codington passed away. He made some awesome hotrods over the years and seemed to be a nice guy in the cut throat world of hotrod building. HELL'S KITCHEN stars Gordon Ramsey one of the top chiefs of the world. I enjoy cooking for friends and family (recipes to come later) so I enjoy this even though things seem over the top at times. Have you ever worked in a kitchen over a hot stove with servers yelling at you for orders? Well if you have you'd know he's just trying to be like a military Drill Instructor who makes his soldiers strong enough to handle to stress of battle. Now I'm not sure how IRON CHEIF AMERICA classified but I consider it to be a "Reality Cooking Show" but I enjoy watching them run around making some incredible dishes off the top of their heads and under the stress of a time limit and having to make 5 dishes. I get a lot of recipes off of www.FoodNetwork.com to try at home.

I don't like the other "Reality TV" shows because they do seem scripted and feel fake...like they are just saying what the producers want. You can see this if can catch some out takes. I told my wife that John and Kate would feel stupid if their marriage didn't work out, but I guess instead they are bigger that before. It's almost like they decided the only ways to keep the show going was to have more kids or get a divorce. Neither parent ever seemed happy to me, except on the RARE occasion but with that many kids it would be hard to find time for yourself so I can understand feeling depressed or overwhelmed. MTV's shows mostly seem scripted and are getting less different and more similar. I would say that goes for CBS also with shows like SURVIVOR and BIG BROTHER. They are both about how low will someone go to win some money that winners are on the show because they are too lazy to work for the money like most Americans.

Well it's late at night and only info-mercies are on so I'm going to watch a classic SWORD IN THE STONE and then get some sleep...have to work tonight so look for a new post this weekend.

Take care....

Movie Reviews

I enjoy movies and here are some of my movie reviews:

Red Belt
It's about one man's struggle to be true to himself versus doing what everyone else wants/expects him to do. His love for his "art" versus his love for his family & friends. His whole world is crumbling and he tries to help, but it just keeps getting worse. He tries his only way out, but finds out it's a lie. He was betrayed by his family, which causes him to loose one friend; but will he loose his honor or will he keep it? It's a good twist at the end and worth watching over and over.

Surfer Dude
This movie is not funny. There's plenty of topless girls and a seemingly endless supply of weed and beer. I'm with some of the other people I don't get why Matthew McConaughey did this movie.

The Tattooist
This has "echoes" of "Stir of Echoes." This one is about the ancient art of tattooing, which was started in the Pacific. This is a story about love, honor, and respect. I am a person who appreciates the art of tattooing so I might have enjoyed this one more than someone who doesn't get why people really get tattooed, but it is at least some what an original story and very nice looking cast to back it up. Check it out because I don't think you'll be disappointed.

Alpha Dog
This is based on true events. I think it was a bit slow going in the middle. It's worth checking out if you like movies based true events. The actors seem to do a decent job. There's just enough nudity/sex to keep you watching to figure there would be more, but you'll be disappointed.

Never Back Down
This is a good movie, but it does remind me of "Karate Kid" from the 80's. It's about a guy who's dealing with his feelings in the wrong ways. The single mom moves her family to benefit her younger son, and probably to get away from memories of her dead husband. The main character has survivors guilt about the father's death, and he has to get over it. There's some "eye candy" for the ladies and gents, so it could be a date movie. I sooner think it's more for just the fellas. Enjoy this one.

Baby Gone Baby
I think this movie is a break out role for Casey Affleck and a break out directing movie for Ben Affleck. With that said I think the story is predictable. I didn't have it ALL worked out by the end but I figured out a lot of the twist really early. If you've seen "Freedomland" before this one, I think you'll figure it out early. It's a good one to check out, and it really does make you think. Check it out.

Stop Loss
This is a very dramatic movie. It has a lot of strong emotions, and if you know someone in the military I'm sure it'll strike home. I think this is Ryan Phillipe's strongest movie. This movie is about family, friends, and honoring both. This movie should really make you think about what's going on here in the families at home and the military people everywhere.

The Eye
Jessica Alba is still a young star in Hollywood and is trying to show she can do a serious role after her less serious roles. I think she does a good job, but I didn't enjoy the story so much. This movie is really about someone who needed to appreciate what she has/doesn't have; and someone who just wanted to help people even if those people didn't want her help. There is some creepy scenes with "death," and check out the extras to see how their made and that's even more gruesome.

Stay posted for more reviews or leave questions you might have about other movies.

Back at this...

How was your weekend?
Friday:Mine started out stressful because I had to call into work on Friday because my wife has been experiencing pain & numbness in her left arm...I found this out Thurs. night/Friday morning after she got up because she couldn't sleep. Well she went to see her Primary Care Physician on Friday who scheduled her for an MRI but couldn't really treat the problem. Friday night about 6-6:15pm my wife starts talking to me about her arm bothering her and she'd rather me not go into work just in case...well I "out sick" as little as possible because if read my previous post know I have my own health issues...so I told her if I called in I was going to take her to the ER at one of our local rackets, oops I mean Hospitals. She said she'd go so I called out of work.
We get to the Hospital about 7pm and they seem pretty busy, but I would expect that from all my previous visits to this same ER.
We wait...wait some more...the triage nurse sees her and forgets all about my wife's pain in her arm and concentrates on why she hasn't take some anxiety meds per PCP prescribed for her so I pipe up and tell the nurse she was worried about taking the meds because I SHOULD be at work leaving my wife to take care of our 2yr old son alone. At this time I think the light bulb came on and she acted like she understood why we were there. We got told to more to the next area and wait...wait some more...they call my wife's name to go see the doctor and have test..."oh sir you can't come back to the green area, no visitors allowed," well she's my wife and I don't think she wants to be alone but ok...I wait some more...about 30mins and no word so I go up to the counter to inquire about my wife...sir I can't tell you because our computer system is down. I told the nice lady to reboot the computer or have someone reboot the server because I need to know what's going on with my wife because NO ONE has told me anything. She explained what the "Green" area is...well simply put it's for patients who aren't in serious need of care and they think they can get them out faster than others. I was somewhat relieved so I sat down and read in my "City of Ashes" novel I had been reading in since we got there, and I think I had already ready about 3 chapters (sorry I read slow). About another 30mins go by and no one comes out to tell me anything and still no wife. I return to the counter to ask the nice lady AGAIN about my wife...guessing their system was up this time because she told me that my wife had a couple of x-rays taken and was waiting on the Radiologist to read them. I again returned to my seat and began to wait... She came out a few minutes later to tell me that the diagnosis was strained muscles. Like I said a RACKET!
Saturday:
I started this day off badly enough...guess I woke up on the "wrong side of the bed" but since I sleep alone because I work nights it's hard to say what's the "wrong" side. I was mean to my mom, wife, and son...well I guess all three anyways, and I'm sorry for that but I can admit it at least!
I ate, got ready for work, and got there ok. Things seemed to calm down and I thought it would just be like any other weekend at work.
I called my wife to check on her and she gave me the news that my SISTER was in the Racket, oops Hospital ER, with EXTREME pain is her right side...here I go again.
I called my mom and she informed he what was going on which didn't give me any details but enough to know I wouldn't need to leave work. My sister's kids were with their father (she has two girls & one boy). I told my supervisor what was going on but that I hoped she'd be ok so I didn't need to leave. I didn't hear anymore that night.
Sunday:
I got off from work and was driving home, so I called the same Hospital I had taken my wife to on Friday only to find out that she had been discharged...go figure it's a RACKET!
I called my mom and left a message.
I got home, got cleaned up, and went to bed.

When I got up I called my mom told me that my sister was still in pain and had to go to her PCP on Monday because the people at the RACKET wouldn't admit her and didn't know what was wrong.

Monday:

My sister went to her PCP who sent her to a OB who sent her to a surgeon who sent her to EXCEL Imagining (ALL part of the RACKET) to have ANOTHER (she had one Saturday at the RACKET) CT with contrast which came up clear so STILL no real answers!

I'm not sure where she goes from here except just take it easy and hope for the best...and this is "Modern Medicine"....sometimes I wonder?!

In the begining...

Today is my first posting and just to let you know I SUCK at spelling! I have a lot to say but not much time. I'm a 30yr. old father and husband who works night shifts, but who's hoping to get moved to days SOON. I'm VERY proud of my son because he's smart, funny, and has started using the "potty." My wife and I have been together since her 18th birthday (except for a couple of months) which was June 13, 2000. We have our ups and downs...especially with me working nights but we love each other. We both have good jobs for our area, and luckily we both have good Health Insurance.

My health problems:

  • Sleep Apnea (when I was tested I stopped breathing 23 times/hour...no wonder I was tired!)

  • Hashimoto's Thyroiditis (my body is attacking my thyroid, ie an autoimmune disease, so hypothyroidism basically)  http://www.healthdiaries.com/thyroiditis.htm

  • Reflux (have had this ALL my life and it BURNS; thank you ZANTAC!!)

  • Overweight (partly because of the sleep apnea & hypothyroidism)

  • bad eye sight (I use a rigid/hard contact which helps mostly)

Surgeries & Broken bones:

  • Heart Closure (yes heart surgery when I was only 1 & 1/2yrs old)

  • endoscopy (first one at the age of about 8yrs old)

  • torn rotator cuff so surgery to reattach the tendon

  • broken 5th metatarsal in my left foot

  • broken 5th metatarsal in my right foot (twice - about 6 months apart)

  • surgery to put a "screw" & bone graft in the 5th metatarsal of my right foot

  • stress fracture of the 4th metatarsal in my left foot

  • arthroscopic surgery summer '08 to have excess cartilage cut out of my left knee

  • stress fracture of the 4th metatarsal in my right foot

Needless to say I have racked up on medical bills. I have a Primary Care Doctor, an Endocrinologist, an Gastroenlogist, an Optomologist, and an Optometrist....not to mention a Dentist in the mix somewhere. Man I burn some brain cells thinking about all those ologist I go to!

Well back to my work schedule, everyone in my family hates it, but it gives me time to do things...like making stuff out of "paracord," washing and folding clothes, reading, watching movies/tv, working out, or cruising the web (mostly ebay or craigslist).

I am a member of a certain online movie rental site and have been on and off since they started. It's an easy way to rent movies without having to worry about late fees killing your wallet, because we ALL forget to take movies back and remember when it's not the best time....so who wants to go out in the pj's?! They mail the movies to you and when you're done just put it back in the envelope they sent it in and mail it. You'll get your new ones in about a day depending on how far from a distribution warehouse you live. You can assign up to 500 movies to be in your "que" which is just their way of saying your list of movies you want. You can even save movies to your "que" that haven't some out yet! I almost always have my "que" full. You can also friend people with similar taste in movies and exchange notes (much like blogging). They also allow you to rate movies based on the 5star system ...one star= it sucks while five stars =it kicks ass. They allow you to make list based on whatever category you want so you can find some cool new releases this way, but the most helpfull option are the reviews that people can type.

It's past my bed time so I'll talk more later....
