Movie Reviews

Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen

This is better than the one that came out a couple of years ago. There is plenty of action & Megan Fox, but they make the robots more human by having them crack jokes or show what would seem like emotions. Did I mention there's plenty of Megan Fox in this movie! There will be more to come with franchise, and I can't wait to see!

FIGHTING

This was not that interesting of a movie to me. Channing is a good looking guy who gets the girl in this one, wait that's not original. He's down on his luck and resorts to hustling rich people for money, wait that's not new either. I didn't find anything original about this movie, but I sure hope GI Joe is better because it'll be coming out soon.

Dead Girl

This isn't one you've probably heard of, I say that because I hadn't, and not sure you'll want to admit to watching afterwards. I think this is supposed to be a different way of doing a horror/zombie movie. These teenage boys find a girl restrained to a table in an abandoned mental hospital. Did I mention she's naked? Well I'm sure most of you can guess where that goes. Well things get even grosser and even weirder from there. I don't recommend this one, especially NOT for kids!

Premonition

This was a strange movie for Sandra Bullock. It was what I would imagine a bad "trip" on some illegal drugs would feel like. I was lost and my head was spinning, and then at the end I was left wondering what the point was? It is told in past and present tenses, so you REALLY need to pay attention. Maybe I'm wrong but I think this movie is like a painting...its meaning is open to interpretation. Not sure I would recommend it for a "date night" unless you're already married; because then you can debate on the meaning.

I thought I was going to have a heart attack...

I woke to hear my name being screamed. What would go do if you woke the sound of your wife screaming at you? I got out of bed as fast as I could and ran into our living room. Where I see B getting C ready for daycare. Short of breath I asked what was wrong, and got the reply nothing just that my son wasn't cooperating. As I tried to slow my heart rate from what seemed like 200bpm they left. B off to work, and C off to daycare. That was a startling way to start my day.

I finished my training today. I go take my test tomorrow. I start my new position with my new crew on Saturday. I'm still nervous, but excited.

I hope tomorrow goes well with my test, and I sure hope I don't get scared into waking up!

I was getting ready for my training class this morning and almost busted my butt on the floor...there was water on the floor. My first reaction was to check under the sink. No water there. Checked the floor to see where it was coming from. I traced the water back to the toilet. I didn't see any water dripping, so I turned off the water. I finished getting ready for my class, and left.

When I got home I found out my brother-in-law was coming over to take a look at the toilet. He got over her, and determined he'd replace the wax seal and refill valve. We went to "Lowe's" and got the parts.

I got tools he needed and watched him, and now it seems to be fixed.

It's nice to have friends & family that can help you like that! It could have taken days and probably a couple hundred dollplumber" but that's what my brother-in-law used to do...so that's why we called him. Thanks man!

More training tomorrow and Wed. and then Saturday I start my new position with a new group of co-workers, so that'll be stressful but good. I'll keep everyone up to date.

Take care...
